Our Current Mass & Services
“Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him”
We are delighted to announce that the Cathedral is now open again for public worship.
Due to the ongoing Pandemic, however, it is clear that we need to proceed carefully along the path that lies ahead, and that we cannot simply return to how things used to be. As a result, we will be carefully managing numbers attending Mass, so as to keep people safe. Consequently, you will need to book your place in order to attend a public Mass at St Marie’s over the weekend. You can find instructions on how to book your weekend place at a St Marie’s Mass here.
We would like to reassure people that there is still no Sunday obligation to attend Mass, and our live-stream Masses will be continuing for the foreseeable future.
Weekday Mass at St Marie’s (from the 2nd December) – no need to book:
Monday to Friday: 12.30pm, 5.30pm
Weekend Mass at St Marie’s (from the 5th December) – please book before you come:
You will need to book a place to attend the following Mass times:
Sunday: 8am, 9.30am, 12.30pm, 6.30pm
Please only attend Mass if you know that you are feeling completely well. If you are showing any symptoms, even if they are mild, please protect other people by staying at home. You are also encouraged to wear a mask when you are in the Cathedral, to help protect other people. There will also be 2m distancing in place.
Live-Stream Mass Times at St Marie’s:
Monday – Saturday: 8am
A Slovak Mass is also live-streamed at 3pm every Sunday.
If you are unable to attend Mass in person, we warmly invite you to spiritually join in with these live-stream celebrations at home, whenever you can. Previously recorded Masses will also continue to be made available.
Cathedral Opening Hours:
The Cathedral is also open 7 days a week for private prayer. Our current hours of opening are:
Monday – Saturday: 11.30am (for confessions) – 14:00, then 17:00-18:00
Sunday: 07:30-10:30, then 12:00-16:00 and 18:00-19:00
