St Marie’s has a team of experienced Tour Guides, who are happy to give guided tours of our beautiful Cathedral by prior arrangement.
Whether you wish to come as part of a small or large group, you will be given a warm welcome, and taken on a fascinating exploration of our beautiful Victorian church – right in the centre of Sheffield.
Guided Tours are usually arranged for Wednesday’s starting at 2pm and lasting just over an hour. Arrangements can occasionally be made for other days.
The Tours give a general introduction into the Cathedral as a place of prayer, worship and heritage for the Catholics of Sheffield – as illustrated in its art and architecture.

Tours are also available for Schools and are designed to be suitable to the age group. School tours are Wednesday at 10am.
