Edible England Virtual Tour:

Our Edible England Tour was developed to celebrate the Heritage Open Days Festival of 2021.

This video tour explores the central role which food and drink play in Christianity and the art within St Marie’s as symbols of life and growth, a focus for celebration and thanksgiving, gathering the faithful together around a communal table

The St Joseph Virtual Tour:

On 8th December 2020, Pope Francis proclaimed that the next 12 months would be a “Year of Saint Joseph”. This was to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the declaration of St Joseph the Worker, as Patron Saint of the Universal Church.

Saint Joseph usually goes unnoticed. As Mary’s husband (St Marie), he was given the important task of watching over, supporting and caring for both the Virgin Mary and Jesus. He was the daily, discreet and hidden presence in the raising of Jesus, who never-the-less played – in the words of Pope Francis – “an incomparable role in the history of salvation”. In this video tour, we explore the tributes and memorials to St Joseph within St Marie’s Cathedral, learn a little more about him as a man, and learn about the individuals behind those memorials.

The Great West Window Virtual Tour:
